CHARLOTTE, NC - StreamLogic's Curtis Hughes invited to help lead a new technology committee for the Greater Carolinas Chapter of the American Red Cross.

"When we formed the technology committee, we knew that we needed a strong technical mind with deep experience in various software products, business efficiency, productivity and business automation," said Jay Joyce, Committee Board Chair and owner of Ideas Squared in Charlotte. "Curtis and StreamLogic are well-known for their ability to bridge business systems, eliminate manual and duplicate efforts, and build web-based portal and communications systems, which is exactly what our Chapter needs to strengthen our communications effort with volunteers, donors, outlying regional Chapters and the Carolina service area."

The Information Technology Advisory Council (ITAC), will be the driving force behind all future technology projects for the Greater Carolinas Chapter, and has already started planning their first major initiative to improve chapter communication and provide better service to the community.

When asked about the impact of the new advisory council, Curtis stated, "The projects we are already working on will revolutionize the way the Red Cross operates. The Carolina’s Chapter supports so many outlining areas and communities. A well-defined, interconnected, collaborative system is exactly what they need. Employees, donors, volunteers, and other chapters will soon have access to real-time, shared information, and be able to make better decisions because of this."
